ELK Studios publishes this as the game's default RTP. Studios ship several RTP builds of most titles and whoever serves the game picks the version, so
we cannot promise this demo or any casino lobby runs this build. Read the RTP in the game's info panel
wherever you play for real.
ELK's own game data sheet, linked from its Wild Toro II game page, publishes a single figure of 95.0%; we found no reduced or higher-RTP build documented by ELK, and the sheet lists no separate RTP for the five X-iter modes.
Wild Toro 2 is ELK Studios’ October 2021 sequel to its 2016 bullring hit: Toro and two Matadors all roam the reels as walking wilds, every Matador in view stretches the 5x5 grid toward 8 rows, and when Toro charges he knocks them off the reels and steals their multipliers - all on a single published RTP of 95.0%, printed by ELK itself. The features, the math, and the release date all check out against ELK’s own pages and sheets, which is rarer than it should be in this industry. The demo below is the free way to watch the bull work before any of it costs money.
How the game works
The base game is a 5x5 grid that ELK’s data sheet counts at 259 paylines. Three characters walk the reels as wilds, per ELK’s own game page: Toro, the Silver Matador, and the Gold Matador, each awarding respins as they move. The structural twist is the Expanding Reels feature: each Matador in view adds an additional row of symbols, up to a maximum of 8 rows, which lifts the payline count up to 502. Gold Matadors also carry multipliers that increase for each step they take, so a Matador that survives a few respins gets more dangerous to leave standing.
The rest of the numbers come straight from the studio’s sheet: hit frequency 22.1%, volatility 7 of 10 on ELK’s own scale, bets from 0.20 to 100 EUR, and a hard cap of 10,000x bet with a 1,000,000-coin maximum exposure.
Toro Goes Berzerk and the Matador Knockout
This is the engine the whole game runs on, and every piece of it is described on ELK’s own page. If any Matadors appear in view, Toro goes berzerk: he charges across the grid, knocks every Matador off, and leaves a trail of wilds behind him. The compounding part is the Matador Knockout: when Toro knocks off a Gold Matador, he absorbs its multiplier and becomes a progressive multiplying walking wild, and additional Toros inherit the current multiplier from the Toro already in view.
So the dream sequence writes itself: Matadors stack rows onto the grid and grow their step multipliers, Toro lands, charges, hoovers up the multipliers, and keeps walking as a multiplied wild through the respins. That chain is where the 10,000x ceiling lives, and the 22.1% hit frequency is the honest reminder of how often the reels pay anything at all, let alone that.
The X-iter menu
ELK’s X-iter buy menu offers five entry prices, from 5x bet for a guaranteed win up to a 500x Super Feature with sticky wilds and Persistent Super Multipliers; the product sheet prices the middle tiers at 25x, 100x (a straight Toro Goes Berzerk trigger) and 250x. Useful for learning the knockout chains fast in the demo. But note that ELK’s data sheet gives one RTP for the whole game and no separate figure for any X-iter mode, so on the published numbers buying does not tilt the odds - it only sets what you pay to skip the wait.
RTP honesty check
ELK prints the number itself: 95.0%, one figure, on the game data sheet linked from its own Wild Toro II page. That is the same single-build pattern we documented on our Pirots 2 page: no menu of reduced builds for operators to quietly pick from, but also no 96% version to hunt for, because there is only one version documented. Credit to ELK for the transparency; the number itself is the catch. It sits roughly a point below the 96% modern average, and the launch-day press called it a step down from the original Wild Toro’s published return. Our RTP guide explains what a point of RTP actually costs over a session. As always, the in-game info panel at the casino you play at is the final word.
The bottom line
Wild Toro 2 is that rare slot where the entire spec sheet traces to the studio’s own documents: the walking wilds, the 8-row expansion, the 10,000x cap, and the 95% return. The berzerk-charge engine has real personality and the demo is genuinely fun to learn. If ELK’s style hooks you, our Pirots 2 demo covers the studio’s deeper and mechanically wilder collection game at a published 94%; between the two, Wild Toro 2 is the friendlier math and the simpler read. Learn the charge patterns for free first, and if you move to real bets, confirm the 95.0% build in the info panel on the spot.
