Play Dam Beavers free in demo mode. How the CollectR beavers and four-level dam work, the five X-iter buys, and why ELK's published 94% RTP is the catch.

ELK Studios publishes this as the game's default RTP. Studios ship several RTP builds of most titles and whoever serves the game picks the version, so we cannot promise this demo or any casino lobby runs this build. Read the RTP in the game's info panel wherever you play for real.
ELK's own game data sheet, linked from its Dam Beavers game page, prints a single figure of 94.0% alongside a 24.8% hit frequency; as with Pirots 2, we found no reduced or higher-RTP build of this game documented by ELK, and the sheet lists no separate RTP for the five X-iter modes.

Dam Beavers is ELK Studios’ 2023 beaver-engineering take on the collection slot: CollectR beavers gathering symbols on a 5x5 grid, floorboards that break away to reveal a four-level dam, and a Beaver Night Fever symbol upgrade - all under the same hard ceiling as Pirots 2: a 94.0% RTP that ELK prints on its own data sheet, with no higher build we could find. The mechanics are genuinely clever and the demo is the free way to learn them. The published return is the honest problem to know about before any real bet.

How the game works

Dam Beavers is a collection game, not a payline slot - ELK’s own data sheet literally lists “CollectR” where paylines would go. Beaver symbols move around a 5x5 grid, collecting matching symbols to build wins, and the game page confirms the full toolkit: wilds, coin wins, an expanding grid, symbol swaps and symbol upgrades, plus a Bonus game and a Super Bonus game on top.

A Feature Meter collects your wins as you go; ELK’s page describes it rewarding one of three feature cards when full - a symbol swap, a symbol refresh or a wild scatter. Alongside those run the feature symbols ELK names on the page: TNT, fireworks, a blender and the bonus pie. Bets run from 0.20 to 100 EUR or equivalent, per the data sheet.

The dam levels and Beaver Night Fever

The signature mechanic is Break the Floor: wins remove the floorboards beneath them, and clearing the floor advances you up the Multi-Level Dam, which ELK’s page confirms runs up to 4 levels. Reviews report the grid growing a row and a column per level - 5x5, then 6x6, 7x7 and finally 8x8 - with symbol values upgrading as you climb, and the 10,000x bet max win (a primary figure from ELK’s sheet) available on the final level.

Clear every floorboard on levels 1 to 3 and you trigger Beaver Night Fever, which ELK’s page names and reviews describe as a symbol-upgrade round: low-value symbols are swapped for heavily upgraded ones for the rest of the sequence. The main Bonus game is reported to trigger on 3 bonus pie symbols, awarding 5 Free Drops with the dam progress carrying through the round. Those trigger details come from review sources, not ELK’s own page, so treat the exact counts as reported.

The X-iter bonus buys

ELK’s X-iter menu is here too, and the studio’s own page confirms five modes priced from 3x bet up to a 500x bet Super Bonus on the fully expanded grid, with the cheapest mode giving more than four times the usual chance to trigger the bonus. Reviews name the ladder: Bonus Hunt (3x stake), Eager Beaver (10x), Dam Buster (25x), Bonus (100x) and Super Bonus (500x). Useful for learning the features fast in the demo - but as with Pirots 2, ELK’s data sheet gives one RTP for the whole game, 94.0%, and lists no separate figure for any X-iter mode. On the published numbers, buying sets your entry price; it does not tilt the odds.

RTP honesty check

This is the section that decides the game, and it reads almost word for word like our Pirots 2 verdict. ELK publishes 94.0% on the Dam Beavers data sheet linked from its own game page, next to a 24.8% hit frequency and a 7 of 10 volatility grade - all primary figures. Unlike Play’n GO or Hacksaw, which document several builds per game, ELK’s sheet lists that single figure, and we found no reduced or higher-RTP version of this game documented by ELK. So there is likely no 96% build to hope your casino runs: 94% is the game, roughly two points below the modern average, and over time that gap is real money. Our RTP guide explains why two points matters more than it sounds.

One footnote for the record: ELK’s own page does not date the release, and databases disagree slightly, placing it in late November or early December 2023 - so we list the year and leave the exact day as reported.

The bottom line

Dam Beavers is the same trade ELK offered with Pirots 2: inventive, feature-dense collection gameplay - the dam levels and Beaver Night Fever are a genuinely fun progression loop - built on a published 94% return with no friendlier version to switch to. Learn the floorboards and the feature cards in the demo, where the RTP costs you nothing. If you move to real money, go in knowing this is one of the more expensive games to run, by design, and pick where you play by payout record - our honest casino reviews rank sites on exactly that.
