Pragmatic Play publishes this as the game's default RTP. Studios ship several RTP builds of most titles and whoever serves the game picks the version, so we cannot promise this demo or any casino lobby runs this build. Read the RTP in the game's info panel wherever you play for real.
Pragmatic Play's own page publishes only the 96.50% default; reduced builds of 95.51% and 94.50% are reported elsewhere, and the casino chooses which one it runs.

Gates of Olympus drops paylines entirely: 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the 6x5 grid pay, winners vanish, new symbols tumble in, and Zeus throws multiplier orbs worth up to 500x. It is one of the most-played slots in the world and one of the swingiest, which is exactly why it belongs in demo mode first.

How the game works

Every spin fills a 6x5 grid. Any symbol appearing 8 or more times anywhere pays; positions and lines don’t matter. Winning symbols are removed and the gaps refill, and this tumble repeats as long as new wins keep forming, so a single spin can chain several payouts.

Zeus periodically adds multiplier orbs valued from 2x up to 500x. When a tumble sequence ends, all orb values on screen are summed and applied to that sequence’s total win.

Free spins are the whole game

Four or more scatters award 15 free spins, and one rule changes everything: multiplier orb values from winning spins are added to a running total that never resets for the rest of the bonus. Early orbs compound every later win, which is how the game reaches its reported 5,000x cap.

The flip side is the same as every scatter-pays slot: bonuses that never build a multiplier pay almost nothing. The ante-bet option (paying 25% more per spin to double bonus frequency) and the buy-bonus feature (100x stake, where available) both feed more volatility, not more return. Try them here with play money and watch what they do to your balance over a hundred spins; it is a cheap education.

RTP honesty check

The 96.50% on Pragmatic Play’s own game page is the default build, and it is the only figure the studio publishes. Reviewers consistently report two reduced certified versions on top of it, 95.51% and 94.50%, with the casino choosing which one it runs. The difference compounds fast on a game you tumble through this quickly. Check the info panel at your casino before betting; our RTP guide shows what to look for.

The bottom line

Gates of Olympus is a multiplier lottery wrapped in a very pretty tumble engine: most spins and many bonuses pay little, and the rare orb-stacked free spins round pays enormously. Learn its rhythm in the demo, confirm the RTP version where you play, and size real bets for very high volatility or not at all.

When you are ready for real bets, pick the casino by its payout record, not its bonus size - our honest casino reviews rank sites on exactly that.
