Cloudbet Review

Cloudbet pays and runs a genuinely fair no-wagering bonus, but the marketing oversells it: an undisclosed 6-month hold, sportsbook winner-limiting, and a partly bought reputation.

The good

  • +One of the oldest crypto books, paying players since 2013, with a license that validates on the regulator's own site
  • +A genuinely fair welcome model: rakeback and cash drops with no wagering and no rollover - real cash you can withdraw, unlike the sticky bonuses elsewhere
  • +A first-class product: 3,000+ casino games plus a full sportsbook and esports book, provably fair Originals and externally certified RNGs
  • +30+ cryptocurrencies across many networks, and small clean crypto withdrawals really are fast
  • +A strong dispute-resolution record - about 90% resolved at AskGamblers, zero unresolved at Casino.Guru, and even seven-figure disputes paid after mediation

The catch

  • -An undisclosed 'betting integrity review' hold of up to 6 months that support admits is not in the terms - the clearest mark against it, applied after wins
  • -Winning sports bettors get limited to near-zero stakes within a week - standard for a soft book, but worth knowing before you bet
  • -Large or flagged withdrawals drag for days to months while smaller ones fly through - 'instant' breaks exactly when the money is big
  • -Verification is risk-triggered, not upfront: you can deposit and win first, then hit a document wall and a $2,200 cumulative-deposit KYC trigger
  • -Two latent fee clauses: an up-to-5% handling charge and a right to deduct deposit costs from a non-profitable player's withdrawal (not observed enforced, but present)
  • -Its high public safety scores are partly bought - we found a paid review campaign; unbought signals sit far lower
  • -US, UK, and much of the EU are restricted, and a restricted-country player on a VPN can lose everything at verification

Cloudbet is the rare crypto casino where the bonus is genuinely fair and the product is genuinely excellent, and yet the “fast, fair payouts” marketing is still oversold. It has paid players since 2013, runs a real sportsbook alongside 3,000-plus casino games, and replaces the industry’s sticky-bonus trap with no-wagering rakeback. But dig into the complaint record and the same shape as everywhere appears - just wearing a nicer suit: small withdrawals fly, big ones stall, winning sports bettors get shut down within a week, and an undisclosed “up to six months” hold freezes exactly the payouts that matter. This is a strong casino for regular crypto play, with eyes open about what happens when you win big.

Payout Speed & Withdrawal Limits

For small, clean crypto amounts the marketing holds: “most crypto withdrawals are processed instantly,” some within 24 hours. It breaks precisely when the money is large or flagged, and this is the section that matters most:

  • The undisclosed 6-month hold. The single clearest mark against Cloudbet is a “betting integrity review” that can freeze a winner’s funds for up to six months - and Cloudbet’s own support has admitted this timeframe is not in the terms and is an “internal procedure.” An open-ended, undisclosed hold applied after wins is exactly the kind of thing our whole site exists to flag.
  • Big withdrawals drag. Independent forums document advertised-”instant” payouts taking 24 to 40 hours, a $79,315 withdrawal “pending since October 17” resolved only after mediation, and a $200,000 balance held then blocked. Small money flies; large money waits.
  • Fee clauses to know. The terms reserve an up-to-5% handling charge on deposits and withdrawals (clause 7.1.10.1), and a right to deduct deposit costs from a non-profitable player’s withdrawal (clause 7.3.7). In practice the published schedule charges no deposit fee and only network fees on withdrawals, and we found no case of 7.3.7 actually enforced - but both are contractually live at Cloudbet’s discretion.
  • Accounts inactive for 12 months can be suspended, and there is no published numeric withdrawal cap for unverified accounts beyond “limits apply.”

How open-ended holds and installment clauses work across casinos is covered in getting your money out.

KYC & Account Policy

Verification is not required at signup - it is risk-triggered, which is the double edge. You can deposit and win first, then meet the document wall: KYC fires when cumulative deposits reach $2,200, on any AML or risk flag, or before a large withdrawal. The checks run through automated provider Sumsub - photo ID, proof of address dated within three months, and a face verification - and unverified accounts are capped until Level 2 is complete. Players report VPN-flag rejection loops and delayed “KYC resets,” the standard risk-based-KYC ambush: disclosed in the help center, but not salient before you deposit. Where Cloudbet sits on the verification spectrum is in our KYC Policy Database.

Games & Providers

This is Cloudbet’s strongest suit and the best product of any casino we have reviewed. It is a genuine dual sportsbook and casino: 3,000-plus casino games (Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Hacksaw Gaming and its own Cloudbet Originals), a full sportsbook across all major sports with live betting and a bet builder, and a real esports book (CS, Dota 2, Valorant, League and more). RNGs are externally certified by independent test houses, and the Originals carry a provably fair verifier you can run yourself - explained in our provably fair guide. If a casino-only review under-covers anything here, it is the sportsbook, which is first-class rather than an afterthought.

Bonuses - the Real Terms

Here Cloudbet genuinely breaks from the pack, and credit is due. There is no sticky deposit-match bonus with 40x wagering. Instead, the welcome offer is a 30-day Welcome Package of up to $2,500 built from rakeback (10% of the house edge back on every bet) and daily cash drops - and it is marketed, accurately per the terms, as “real cash you can withdraw, no wagering requirements, no rollovers.” That is a materially fairer model than every sticky bonus we have reviewed.

The catches are small by comparison, but read them:

  • Rewards are paid in six installments every 48 hours, and each must be claimed within 24 hours or it is forfeited.
  • A max bet of 25% of your deposit in a single round applies (clause 8.9); breaking it can cost the winnings.
  • Separate promotional bonuses (not the welcome package) do carry standard wagering - slots 100%, table and live games 10% - and a $20-deposit-plus-playthrough gate before cash-bonus winnings are withdrawable.

If you only ever take the no-wagering welcome package, this is one of the few casino bonuses we would not tell you to skip outright. Decode any offer with our Bonus Terms Calculator and bonus terms guide.

Payments

Thirty-plus cryptocurrencies - BTC, BCH, ETH, the major stablecoins (USDT, USDC, DAI, USDP), plus SOL, XRP, TRON, ADA and many more - across multiple networks each, with a buy-with-card path via a third-party provider and fiat in some jurisdictions. Deposits are free; withdrawals carry only the network fee. One caution: Cloudbet supports specific networks per coin and not bridged or wrapped versions (no USDC.e, USDT.e), so match the network exactly.

Restricted countries (checked 13 July 2026): the US and its territories, the UK, and much of the EU - Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Malta and more - plus Australia and Curacao itself. The geo rule is enforced harshly: one player grew a balance to roughly $45,000 and lost $15,000 in winnings at verification over a US restriction, recovering only the original deposit. If you are in a restricted country, a working deposit is no promise you can ever withdraw.

Support

Live chat and email, plus a Telegram channel, and the resolution record is genuinely strong - about 90% of AskGamblers complaints resolved, zero unresolved at Casino.Guru, and a Sportsbook Review administrator confirming that even seven-figure disputes were ultimately paid. That is the best “they do pay” evidence in the file, and it comes from adversarial forums, not affiliates. The caveats: responses go scripted while a balance sits in a hold, Casino.Guru itself lists “limited responsible gaming options” as its one con (a player reported a self-exclusion request ignored), and the community forums carry sharper unresolved grievances than the mediated ledgers.

Verdict

Cloudbet earns a 3.6: a 12-year payment record, a license that validates, the best product we have reviewed, and the fairest bonus model in crypto gambling - held back by an undisclosed six-month hold that support admits is off-book, aggressive limiting of winning bettors, big-withdrawal drag, and a public reputation that is partly bought rather than earned. For regular crypto casino play from its open markets, it is a strong pick with real upside on the bonus. For sharp sports bettors, big-win chasers, or anyone bending the jurisdiction rules, walk in knowing the friction is real. Of the casinos we have reviewed it sits just behind BitStarz and 7Bit - a genuinely good casino that oversells how effortless it is.

Sources and evidence

  • Official sources (accessed 13 July 2026, live via proxy): Cloudbet’s terms, help-center articles, payments and fairness pages. Every clause quoted - the $2,200 KYC trigger, the 5% handling charge, clause 7.3.7, the no-wagering welcome package, the 25% max bet - comes from these documents.
  • License: Curacao Gaming Authority certificate validated on the regulator’s own domain (active, license OGL/2024/328/0599, granted May 2025, operator Halcyon Super Holdings B.V.). License facts never come from review sites. No current Montenegro license claim exists; older references to one are stale.
  • Complaint record: read adversarially across four independent venues - Casino.Guru (9.2 index, zero unresolved), AskGamblers (about 90% resolved), Sportsbook Review, and LCB. The 6-month-hold, winner-limiting, and big-withdrawal-drag patterns are documented across all of them.
  • Reputation forensics: we found a paid review campaign on Bitcointalk (roughly $50 per review, running from August 2025), which means Cloudbet’s high public star ratings are partly bought - the unbought signals (LCB 2.8, Trustpilot 3.6) sit far lower. We also note a possible affiliate conflict behind its Casino.Guru score. We relied on adversarial-forum and mediated evidence, not aggregate ratings.
  • RateCorner testing status: account created - no · deposit made - no · withdrawal tested - no. First-hand testing begins once our funded test protocol is live.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast does Cloudbet pay out? Small, clean crypto withdrawals are fast - most instant, some within 24 hours. Large or flagged ones drag days to months, plus an undisclosed betting-integrity hold of up to six months that support admits is not in the terms.

Is Cloudbet’s welcome bonus actually good? Yes, unusually so: a 30-day package of up to $2,500 in rakeback and cash drops with no wagering and no rollover - real withdrawable cash, unlike a sticky deposit match. Minor catches on max bet and claim windows.

Does Cloudbet require KYC? Risk-triggered, not at signup: it fires at $2,200 cumulative deposits, on any flag, or before a big withdrawal, via Sumsub - ID, proof of address, and a face check.

Is Cloudbet legit and safe? It has paid since 2013 and its license validates, with a strong mediated-dispute record. But an undisclosed 6-month hold, winner-limiting, and a partly bought reputation are all real. Recoverable, sometimes only after a fight.

Can US or UK players use Cloudbet? No - both are restricted, along with much of the EU and Australia. A restricted-country player on a VPN can lose everything at verification.
